60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday: What Have I Learned From Someone Else’s Words?

It may be same or different for you.</p><p>“<i>The heart can get really cold if all you’ve known is winter</i>.” [Benjamin Alire Sáenz] If you meet up with someone who doesn’t come across as warm and welcoming as you might like, cut her a little slack and ask about her story.</p><p>It’s Mental Health Month so this one caught my heart: “<i>Loneliness is like starvation; you don’t know how hungry you are until you start eating</i>.” Please take good care of yourself. We all need something to do, someone to love, something to hope for; even in small doses it’s available to us.</p><p>“<i>The phrase ‘I don’t know’ is often the shortest, most effective and least expensive way of staying honest</i>.” If you don’t know you don’t know. Say so.
