60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday: How Far Is it to Find Out Who You Are?

<p>Hello to you listening in <a href="https://www.nps.gov/pore/planyourvisit/index.htm" target="_blank">Point Reyes Station, California</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk With 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga.</p><p>As many of you know my 5 week, 500 mile pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago de Compostella defines my life: BC (before Camino) and AC (after Camino). Not a day goes by that I don’t recall some aspect of The Way of Saint James.</p><p>As you walk The Way you are often asked: how come you are walking? In the beginning I said I’m finding myself or healing old stuff. But it never rang true. Rather, I was called to walk. That was true. There was no more denying that call than stopping my own heartbeat.</p><p>But called for what? There were days I felt like I missed the spiritual boat. There were days I felt like I made a poor pilgrim. There were days I asked for answers and heard only silence in the wind.</p><p>Now I know.
