The book, <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Madly-Deeply-Diaries-Alan-Rickman/dp/1250847958" target="_blank">Madly, Deeply - The Alan Rickman Diaries Review</a> spans 22 years of diaries, beginning in 1993 and ending in December 2015 shortly before his death capturing Rickman at the height of his fame.</p><p>This line on page 37 of his book caught my ear: “<i>I hate it when my head, heart and aspirations are filled to the brim only with career. The rest of me hangs around like a jacket on the back of a doorknob</i>.”</p><p>Apart from Rickman’s magical imagery, I hear longing for belonging to all parts of his life.
