Description

Ok, so this weeks episode has me getting a little bit ranty about judgement in parenting. We all do it, yes even me sometimes (and I share when I've been most judgey in my past), but there are some pretty solid reasons to just be kind to each other.

We have just globally navigated one of the key events of our lifetimes, and our nerve systems are still recovering from it, and judgement (whether perceived or real), can be a big problem in the parenting paradigm.

I'd love to hear your feedback, and to have more conversations about judgement in parenting. The key take homes are:

- judgement was an evolutionary approach in cultures to develop best practice and ensure survival

- not everybody has the same backgrounds, information, knowledge base, privelege and resources

- listening withough judgement is a growth skill - and one that mothering amplifies.

- kindness, and support when asked for is key.

Enjoy.
