574: Pierz Lakers vs Foley Lumberjacks Region 8C 2022

<div>The Pierz Lakers came out of the gate with 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st and that was enough as Pierz clinched a spot at State with a 5-1 win over the Foley Lumberjacks on Saturday night in Avon.  1 run scored on an error, Peter Herman cracked a 2-run double, Brady Petron had an rbi double of his own and then Petron would score on a squeeze but play.  Preston Rocheleau and Noah Cekalla combined to limit the Lumberjacks to 5 hits.  Drew Beier had 3 of those hits, including a pair of doubles.  Mitch Keeler's rbi single in the 8th accounted for Foley's only run. </div>
