#54 He faced DEATH THREE TIMES in his life - The INCREDIBLE story of Rich Bontrager

#54 When Rich Bontrager was born, his family was told that he wouldn't survive for more than a few days...maybe a week or two at the most. He had a rare virus that was over 90% fatal in infants. He beat the odds and survived. At the age of 10 years old, Rich (through a story that only he can tell) was turned into a "human torch" accidentally while playing in the garage with his siblings. Thanks to some very quick thinking he survived. Lastly, Rich was diagnosed with liver failure and the prognosis wasn't good. He only had 25% function of his liver and he would have to wait for a deceased donor if he was going to survive. Almost at the last minute, he received a liver transplant. Rich has lead an incredible life of challenges. In addition to the challenges already mentioned, he stuttered as a young boy and was bullied as a result. In the middle of fighting for his life during his liver failure...his wife left him. Through it all though, he maintained his FAITH and HOPE for a better tomorrow.
