51. The Champion: Rebekah Bernard, MD

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rebekah Bernard MD is a Family Physician and the co-author of Patients at Risk: The Rise of the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant in Health Care” (Universal Publishers 2020). </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><span style= "font-weight: 400;">She is a national speaker on the topic of physician wellness and practice management.  Dr. Bernard also writes a regular blog for</span> <a href= "http://www.medicaleconomics.com/authors/rebekah-bernard-md" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style= "font-weight: 400;">Medical Economics</span></a> <span style= "font-weight: 400;">and is a frequent contributor to</span> <a href="https://www.kevinmd.com/blog/post-author/rebekah-bernard" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style= "font-weight: 400;">KevinMD</span></a> <span style= "font-weight: 400;">and other health publications. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A native Floridian and daughter of two Registered Nurses, Dr. Bernard grew up in the rural town of Clewiston. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Sociology and received her medical degree from the University of Miami.
