<p class="p1">Today we are diving into a rapid fire question and answer session about the COVID vaccines with infectious disease epidemiologist, Jessica Malaty Rivera. Jessica and I both receive numerous questions daily regarding the COVID-19 vaccination. These are questions that so many of you have, so this episode will help us all understand everything more clearly. Jessica will break down the science behind the vaccines and address the theories and myths circulating around them. We will also both share our experiences of being vaccinated.</p> <p class="p1"> </p> <p class="p1">Jessica has dedicated the last 15 years of her career to infectious disease research, public health policy, and vaccine advocacy. She earned her Masters of Science Degree in emerging infectious diseases from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her specialty is in translating complex scientific concepts into impactful judgement free and accessible information for a diverse audience. She is currently the science communication lead for the COVID tracking project at the Atlantic.
