He is the author of Raise Up a Child and Crucible: The Choices that Change Your Life Forever. He is also deeply involved in his home church, The Bridge, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where he serves as one of the teaching pastors. Phil and his wife, Ellen, have two children, Emily and Philip.</p>
