<p>Michael Luseni, Principal, Career and Technical Education talks with Freddie Bell and Chantel SinGs  on KMOJ morning show to talk about <br>Career &amp; Technical Education (CTE) is an academic program available to all 10-12 grade MPS<br>students interested in earning college credit or receiving job certifications for free. Examples of<br>available pathways include Healthcare, Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Automotive,<br>Construction &amp; Welding, Media Arts, Law &amp; Public Safety and more.<br>In the fall of 2023, there will be CTE Tech Centers at North, Edison and Roosevelt high schools.<br>Career readiness courses will be available in all MPS high schools. Students remain enrolled in<br>their current high school and receive transportation to their CTE courses for part of the day.<br>Students have all summer to enroll in CTE courses. To do this, they should connect with their<br>school counselor before the end of the school year or they can call the CTE department directly<br>over the summer to register.</p>
