5:25 The Law and Universal Depravity (Rom 3:1-18)

<p>What good is it to know God&#39;s law if it doesn&#39;t save us? If we don&#39;t need it, why bother? The law is God&#39;s light to all nations that we have a problem. Every person is shown to be depraved at heart. What is depravity? It is that bent inside that falls towards evil. Depravity is that tendency towards corruption. There is no one that can escape the effect of depravity on the whole human race except they be born again. Modern psychology tells us we are basically good and our problem is a lack of education. God tells us our heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.
