4:7 11 - Holiness as an Enduement with Power

<p>We have talked about the cleansing nature of the Baptism with the Spirit. You may focus more on the need for a clean heart. Maybe, you focus on the need for power. Dear listener, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost both cleanses the heart and empowers us for the service of God in the upbuilding of His kingdom! You cannot have true power without purity and you cannot have true purity without power. There are some crazy ideas about the power of God in the modern-day church. The Bible, however, is the most sane book we have and the godly in that book were sane individuals.
