The authors look at how generations repeat in archetypes and in dominant/recessive patterns. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This book allowed me to understand how each generation and their influences have shaped the people around us. It crystallized my thinking about who we are in the world and how we interact with each other.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strauss and Howe expose the patterns of dominant and recessive generations and help me to understand why people of alternating generations seems to understand each other better than in typical parent/child generational relationships.
