#30 How to Deal with People/Situations that Drain Your Energy as an Empath

<p>Next time you feel guilty about saying no, don&apos;t. You don&apos;t have to feel bad about it. As an empath, the littlest things can drain our energy, and then we&apos;re left with nothing to show up in the important areas of our lives. There are many ways to protect your own energy so that you can fully show up for things that matter to you. <br/><br/>The key takeaway from this episode is to realise that the reason why we cave in to saying yes is that we feel guilty about the disadvantages that we are putting on the other person if we say no. If we can shift and think about the ADVANTAGES that the other person will get (that will serve them in the long run) from us saying no, then we are more likely to say no without guilt.<br/><br/>Moral of the story: Stand true to the boundaries that you draw - you are more important than anyone else, especially if you are an introverted empath.
