3 Hot Days; Cooler More Seasonal Temps w/Some Rain Chances Early Next Week; Warm & Dry Again Next Thu-Sat

<p>Strong upper-level ridge over the 4-corners will move into southern Rockies and Plains through Saturday pushing highs back into the mid to upper 90’s to around 100-degrees for one last time on Friday.  With lower relative humidity and southerly surface winds near critical fire weather conditions are expected along and west of KS Highway 27.   Saturday night a cool front will move through with some scattered storm chances and gusty northwest winds.  Upper-level flow becomes more zonal and westerly over the Rockies Sunday and early next week with multiple shortwaves increasing late day and overnight storm chances and cooling temperatures closer to more seasonal readings by Wednesday. </p>
