28.5: 1 Samuel 23 & Psalms: God is Our Shield, Saving Those Whose Hearts are True & Right

<p>Today we break up the next chapter of 1 Samuel with 3 psalms. David &nbsp;hears of a city that’s in trouble. Then, he asks God if he should go &nbsp;help them and God says yes. However, paranoid King Saul, learns that &nbsp;David is there and sets off after him. It was Saul’s duty to protect the &nbsp;city. But, he was way to busy chasing David to do what he was supposed &nbsp;to do. So, we’ll read the story and David’s psalms as they fit into the &nbsp;story line.
