28.25: 2 Samuel 13: Think Before Giving Satan a Foothold that Ruins Your Life

<p>What do you think of the Old Testament so far? &nbsp;You have sin all over the place. Every type of sin. Consider this, God &nbsp;wouldn’t have had to give us the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2021/04/17/how-jesus-takes-the-10-commandments-and-wraps-them-into-2-great-ones/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">10 Commandments</a> if people where not committing each sin. He wouldn’t have had to give all the laws in <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/jesus-in-exodus-bible-study/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Exodus</a> – <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/jesus-in-deuteronomy-bible-study/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Deuteronomy</a>. It all started with the first time man gave <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2021/04/22/genesis-3-eden-destroyed-how-the-power-of-grace-defeats-the-influence-of-satan/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Satan a foothold in the Garden of Eden</a>. <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2021/04/21/genesis-1-and-2-the-first-earth-day-when-god-created/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Adam and Eve had it made</a>! They had everything they could possibly need. Everything was perfect until Satan’s irresistible temptation plot worked.</p> <p>Here, in this next chapter, the lust of the flesh envelops someone &nbsp;else. This time it’s David’s oldest son, Amnon. And obviously, David, &nbsp;was not a good moral example.
