2553: Yei River County legislators appeal for humanitarian assistance for people displaced by floods

<div>Yei River County legislators Peter Lomude Francis and Baba Samuel Manoa Aligo say people who were affected by flood in the area are in dire need for humanitarian assistance. The legislators say for the first time since 1998, Yei experienced floods that destroyed people's homes and washed away their farm produce leaving them stranded. Lode Francis and Manoa Aligo are appealing for both humanitarians and development assistance as some of the bridges connecting places in the county were washed away. </div>
