239: Motor Vehicles Amendment: How Your Life Will Be Affected

On this episode of The Big Story we dissect the provisions of the newly passed Motor Vehicles Amendment Bill. What are the new laws coming into effect? How will your travel and daily life be affected? Well, at the least, let’s say they’ll be affected a LOT. Traffic violations, driving without helmets or a license, and drunk driving will draw heavy fines now.  However, cab services like Uber and Ola will also be held accountable for surge pricing, driver quality and passenger safety. So, in short, there’s a lot on offer in this new bill.
