2255: A new approach is needed to address issues affecting internally displaced persons.

<div>That’s according to the UN Assistant Secretary-General and Special Advisor on Solutions to Internal Displacement, Robert Andrew Piper, who is currently on a visit to South Sudan. </div> <br> <div>Assistant Secretary General Piper says the most effective approach should be led by the government through line ministries with combined efforts from other actors including humanitarians. </div> <br> <div>Mr Piper returned from Wau yesterday where he visited an IDP camp to get a better understanding of the conditions of the displaced persons.</div> <br>
