2184: Mine Action Authority together with partners to clear more land for Agriculture

<div>The Mine Action Commission together with partners have stressed the need to continue clearing more agriculture land to increase food production. UN Mine action notes that 40% of grounds cleared of unexploded ordinance in the country are being used for cultivation. The country representative of food and agriculture organization<strong> – </strong>FAO Meshack Malo says landmines pose a high risk to farmers.
