This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.</p> <p> </p> <p>Father God, in the name of Jesus, the songwriter, penned this song: who is like unto our God. There's no other God besides you, oh God. You're faithful. You're present in our praises. You're wonderful. You are kind. You are the one that dwells in us and among us. In Jesus' name.</p> <p> </p> <p>And we are the children of the highest God. And we know that you love us. We know that you have a great plan for us. We know that you are on our side. For your word tells us greater is he that is in us than he does in the world. So we have the majority on our side today, in Jesus' name.</p> <p> </p> <p>So we ask again for the continual examination of our hearts, our minds, and our souls. That the Holy Ghost will shine the searchlight of your word on our hearts in order that we may become the people of the Almighty God.</p> <p> </p> <p>Do it now, God, to the glory of God. So that we can become better in our relationships.</p> <p> </p> <p>Mm.</p> <p> </p> <p>More loving in our communications. More forgiving in our relationships. Work on our hearts so we can respond according to the will of God in everything. For your word says a soft answer turns away wrath. Work on our hearts and take away our anger in order that we may, oh, glory, answer with a soft answer. Answer within the confines of love in the name of Jesus. For your word says and God's so l
