<p>Pre-workouts are great, if they're using the right ingredients and dosing them properly at that!</p> <p> </p> <p>The issue is, most companies DO NOT. They either put bare minimums or (unfortunately) even less.</p> <p> </p> <p>It's really a shame because there's real science backing some supplement ingredients, but the companies really can give the whole industry a bad name.</p> <p> </p> <p>I decided to dig into a little research and figure out which ingredients appeared to be the best based off this (the research) and my own personal experiences.</p> <p> </p> <p>The top 4 ingredients I came across that sound the most promising:</p> <p>1. Caffiene</p> <p>2. L-Tyrosine</p> <p>3. Nitric Oxide Booster (Beet Root Powder, L-Citrulline, CItrulline Malate)</p> <p>4. Choline (Alpha-GPC to be more specific)</p> <p> </p> <p>Honorable Mentions:</p> <p>1. Beta Alanine</p> <p>2. Creatine Monohydrate (this one was personal, I've never seen much benefit personally)</p> <p> </p> <p>Ingredients I changed my mind on or showed little to no evidence:</p> <p>1. L-Theanine (sadly I use to swear by this)</p> <p>2.
