21 January - St Agnes, Virgin and Martyr

St Agnes was a virgin and martyr and is honored as the patroness of the young. Agnes was born into a wealthy Christian family in 291 AD but dedicated her life to the gospel in spite of persecution. Her feast day is on January 21st.
