<p>Super Eagles vice-captain, William Troost-Ekong says the team is determined to end their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign in style.</p>, <p>The three-time African champions will take on Sao Tome and Principe in their final game in the qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday (today).</p>, <p>Jose Peseiro’s men have already booked a place in Cote d’Ivoire 2023 and sit atop Group A with 12 points from five games.</p>, <p>Despite the inconsequential nature of the game, William Troost-EKong hinted that the Super Eagles want to put up a good show for their fans.</p>, <p>“We are taking the game seriously and thinking about the fact that we have already qualified for the World Cup,” the vice-captain told a press conference in Uyo.</p>, <p>“If you see the boys in training, everyone has worked real hard, not thinking about whether we have qualified or not.</p>, <p>“We want to make the fans happy by putting up a good performance on Sunday. Uyo has always been a good ground for us. We had a good run during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers here.</p>, <p>“You can be sure we will do our best to make Nigerians proud.”</p>
