Meanwhile, the White House and President Joe Biden continue to ramp up pressure on Russia not to invade Ukraine. President Biden spoke by phone with Transatlantic leaders on "continued diplomatic and deterrence efforts." The US Senate avoided a government shutdown by passing a temporary funding bill keeping it open until March 11th. Democrats are now looking to restart the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit programs. On Wednesday, Pope Francis will bless a torch with the Benedictine Order's Latin motto on it. The blessing kicks off the Benedictine March 2022, in which the flame will be taken throughout parts of Spain early next month. Procurator General of the Benedictine Confederation, Fr. Mauritius Wilde, joins to tell us about this torch and the upcoming events in March. Finally this evening, two Christians in Finland are on trial for their beliefs. Executive Editor of the Federalist, Joy Pullman, joins to talk more about the trial. The Federalist recently interviewed the two people at the center of the trial.
