The president also said today, in an update he gave the nation on the omnipresent Omicron variant, that the "Omicron variant is causing millions of cases and record hospitalizations." Meanwhile, finding all the items on your grocery list might be a challenge, as many stores across the nation have shelves that are virtually empty. Associate Professor of International Business and Associate Dean of the Busch School of Business at Catholic University, Anthony Cannizzaro, joins to explain what he thinks is driving these shortages. And a new report says the recent violence in Kazakhstan led to more than 160 deaths and around 12,000 arrests. Protests against a rise in fuel prices turned violent earlier this year.
