2021 Predictions Review and 2022 Outlook

<p>On this final trading day of 2021, we go back and take a look at the predictions we made from 2021 at the <a href="https://www.tastytrade.com/shows/from-theory-to-practice/episodes/2021-outlook-01-04-2021" target="_blank">beginning of the year.</a> Looking at the starting price and expected move for SPY, QQQ, and GLD, we see that while we missed the mark in getting anywhere near the actual return in all three, even the <a href="https://ontt.tv/VtdeL" target="_blank">expected moves themselves</a> were pretty far off. Case in point, in any given month, quarter, or year, the randomness and unpredictability of the market is pretty hard to deny.</p> <p>Lastly, we offer up our predictions in the same three indexes for 2022.</p>
