Vice-President Kamala Harris presided over the vote. Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma was one of the Republicans that did not support the infrastructure bill and expressed his doubts over the funding of it. Senator Lankford joins us to talk more about that and the impact it could have on the federal budget deficit. President Joe Biden praised the passage of the bill as it is a cornerstone of his multi-trillion dollar Build Back Better agenda. The president seized on the momentum of the day, stating, "we're on the cusp of an infrastructure decade that I truly believe will transform America."
