Opening Statement: If you're a follower of Jesus, you have received the Great Commission. Jesus's instructions to go into all the earth and create disciples weren't just for the disciples or professional ministers; it applies to all of us. Today I want to share with you why we might be fearful about sharing the Gospel with people and then share why you shouldn’t be. I) Why We Might Be Afraid To Share The Gospel 1) "I'm afraid they'll ask questions I can't answer" 2) "I struggle with my own faith" 3) "I don’t know how to start a conversation" II) Why We Shouldn’t Be Afraid To Share The Gospel 1) Love is greater than fear 2) Trust the Holy Spirit 3) Feel the fear and do it anyway In Closing: Be like a good neighbor and share the most important thing you can with those around you. Which is, how they can be forgiven, how they can have a relationship with a Savior that loves them, and how that will insure they have a home in heaven.
