<p>Creative M Projects Founder Melissa Sharee hosts featuring RUTH-ANGELA PATTEN - born in Berkely, California and raised in Oakland and earned her BA from a small Christian university, her MA in classical music from CSU, East Bay. She is a professional bassoonist. She studied classical music and bassoon with some of the top musicians in the world. She performed regularly with the Oakland Youth Orchestra, the SF Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO), and toured parts of Europe with the SFSYO. She began her journalism career in high school and worked with a small newspaper for four years. She writes children’s songs, and she is a published author.
