<div>The Food and Agriculture Organization FAO and the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries say laboratory tests have revealed that fish in Northern Bahr el Ghazal were affected by Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome. FAO Senior Fisheries Officer Sarafino Ojja says the parasite has now cleared off the water bodies because the incubation period for the disease is about 20 days. <br> Ojja says the disease is attributed to the flood situation which affected most parts of the country. <br> Meanwhile, Fisheries Expert at the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries says the one-month fishing ban which was imposed due to the fish disease in Northern Bahr el Ghazal has now been lifted. Amal Moga Sebit says people can resume their daily activities on the water bodies.</div>
