<div>This year’s rainy season has seen unrelenting floods because of heavy rains which have characterized most parts of South Sudan. Desperate families in flood-ravaged villages have had to spend hours in search of food and other essentials, after another summer of intense rainfall worsened an already dire situation. </div> <div>The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization FAO in South Sudan has been on the ground throughout the entire experience, helping to lessen the burden.
