1805: UJOSS: Harassment of the media is affecting government’s communication to its citizens

<div>The media space in South Sudan has continued to shrink due to numerous challenges that constantly threaten press freedom. Just a few days ago, authorities closed Singaita FM, a community radio station based in Kapoeta, Eastern Equatoria State, following a misunderstanding over slotting of government officials on a talk show. A few months ago, Radio Jonglei in Bor was shut down on suspicion of broadcasting inciting content but re-opened later.<br> <br> </div> <div>These happenings have not gone unnoticed by the Union of Journalists of South Sudan, UJOSS.
