18 October - St Luke the Evangelist

St Luke the Evangelist was a doctor and an apostle of Jesus. He wrote one of the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. He was multi-talented and is well known as the patron of physicians and surgeons. His feast day is on 18th October.
