1776: PLP wing of the OPP umbrella group denies reaching consensus on sharing of State parliament seats

<div>The leader of People Liberal party, one of the parties in the Other Political Parties block, Peter Mayen, has refuted a statement attributed to the group’s spokesperson Albino Akol Atak, that they had reached a formula for allocating seats in the state assemblies.<br> <br> </div> <div>Mayen said the statement was an individual opinion and not the official stand of the OPP leadership.<br> <br> </div> <div>He clarified that they have called for a meeting to ensure any distribution of seats is inclusive.<br> <br> </div> <div>On Tuesday, OPP spokesperson Albino Akol Atak said some parties within the block agreed on a formula to share the seats allocated to OPP in each state, but the Umbrella group has rejected it.<br> <br> </div>
