1724: International Literacy Day

<div>Today September 8th is International Literacy Day, and the Global theme for 2021 is “Literacy for a human-centered recovery: Narrowing the digital divide”.</div> <div>On 26 October 1966, UNESCO proclaimed 8 September as International Literacy Day to combat worldwide issues of illiteracy.
