17 - Rapunzel (1812)

Rapunzel is the story for this week and during my research, I discovered that the brothers Grimm released two different versions. I don't know if or when we'll do the second one, but this was the first of the two. When reading it, I was confused when it said the woman "saw rapunzel" in the garden and had to look it up. I learned that it's a vegetable, which is how the baby girl got that particular name! You may have already known that, but I certainly did not!
