168. Helping your kids fight less & get along better

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Last week we mentioned our daughters going to prom together. We talked about how their relationship has developed and some of the different seasons they have walked through. We got a lot of questions from people asking, how did our daughters developed a relationship to where they call each other their best friends, when before it wasn’t always like that.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><span style= "font-weight: 400;">So, we asked Kathrynne and Kaitlynn for their insights and input on their relationship and both Jesse and I also add some of our thoughts and things from our perspective on this. Kathrynne has three points we go over: don’t force it, learning emotional language, and time.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A few thoughts I have had is loving your kids right where they are at. Our kids pick up so much from us, not just our words but our actions and emotions. Talking positively to them, about them to each other, and about them to others.
