1679: Chamber of commerce demands for end to illegal tax collection

<div>The chamber of commerce in Juba city is calling on the city authority to take punitive measures against continued illegal collections from traders. <br> <br> </div> <div>This follows complaints by several traders in Konyo-konyo market that four uniformed personnel, including two from the national fire bridge collected, sums of money from them on Thursday. <br> <br> </div> <div>Chairperson of the Juba city Chamber of Commerce, Stephen Wani Aquilino, is demanding urgent intervention to protect businesses and consumers.    <br> <br> </div> <div>Last week, the Mayor ordered a stop to illegal taxing of traders by unauthorized institutions.   <br> <br> </div>
