1606: IGAD Special Envoy urges government to graduate Necessary Unified Forces

<div>The IGAD Special Envoy for South Sudan Ismail Wais is encouraging the government to urgently graduate the Necessary Unified Forces to be deployed across the country to contain sub-national violence. The government has in the past said it is short of cash to speed up the graduation of the forces to immediately take charge of security during the transitional period. Speaking exclusively Radio Miraya's Sani Martin in Juba, Amb. Wais said deployment of the unified forces is a practical solution to the crisis in Pibor and other parts of the country. <br> <br> </div>
