Description

Storey Pryor for the first time, shares her story for the need to be perfect, which led to eating disorders, countless sleepless night and a severely abusive relationship. She shares how she got in, stayed in and got out of this horrible relationship. Storey's intention to tell her story is to help others who have been through or have gone through an abusive relationship.

She continues to deal with that non-stop voice in her head that drives her to want to be perfect and care more about what other think about her, than how thinks about herself. Actually, we both laugh at that roommate we all have in our head that just won't move out. This podcast is honest, raw and vulnerable. We at YJHTL thank Storey for her willingness to not only share this very personal story, but trust us to share it with respect and care. Yes, there are some light hearted moments, even funny ones. But what we know to be true is when you can find the humor and laugh at 'it' you now own 'it' - 'it' doesn't own you. 'It' being the emotions that can and will paralyze one's life.

We also thank you, the listener, to also trust YJHTL to bring you subjects that may be uncomfortable at first, but by listening to the people who have been through it, can help and heal our emotional souls.
