And when we go into the personal development space or we’re marketed to, we think, “If I just do this, go here, or hire this person, I’m gonna have this on lock.”⁣<br />⁣<br />This isn’t always the case.⁣<br />⁣<br />Which can lead us down a shame spiral: “I’ve invested all this money and time into this person who I thought was the answer—that they could guide me to this destination.” Which is largely due to the society we live in, which wants everything fast and easy.
