12.8: How Saving Faith through Jesus can Erase a Sinner's Debt

<p>Paying off a debt feels good. It’s nice to see that last invoice marked &nbsp;“paid in full”! Well, we mere humans have a sinner’s debt to pay to God. &nbsp;The wages of sin is death — a death spent away from God in hell. The &nbsp;Good News is that <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/01/15/why-did-jesus-have-to-die/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Jesus died on the cross</a> as our <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/11/14/we-are-no-longer-slaves-to-sin-because-of-the-redemption-of-jesus/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">redeemer</a>. Everyone who believes that Jesus did that for them, has had their debt of sin paid in full.
