113. Message to the Church from a Mental Health Therapist

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style= "font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">  Our world is hurting, and we need the church to lead by showing how to truly be free. God can shine through healthy people who are free, not in bondage. When I got into ministry, I innocently was surprised by how many wounded people are in churches and ministries. I thought they had it all put together. However, they are just like everyone else. But shouldn’t Christians look different than the rest of the world? In this message, I share the wisdom I believe the church needs to bridge mental health. I think there is much to learn and grow in the church about mental health. Leaders in ministries need to not be afraid of it and bring the topic into their church first by being authentic and vulnerable themselves. We don’t know what we don’t know.
