Description

I am so excited to welcome you to this throwback episode of the She Doesn’t Settle podcast. I have a very important topic to discuss, and it’s one which is always relevant, but particularly so for this past year and a half: resilience. Identifying our own resilience and understanding the ways it impacts so many aspects of your life is crucial, and that is precisely what we will undertake in this very special episode.

I’ll start by defining resilience, demonstrating the difference in people who have or don’t have it, and we’ll look at a couple of studies that have been done about it. I’ll explain growth mindset and the two ways resilience is derived, as well as present some examples of questions you need to ask yourself, and emphasize the importance of having and utilizing a support system. Much of the episode is devoted to exploring the 5 things that contribute to resilience that you may not usually consider, and I also share some personal stories from my own life to help illustrate some of the information shared. If 2020 has taught us anything, it is the need for resilience when facing challenges, and I hope that the ideas and advice presented here today will help you to flex your resilience muscles, and not simply survive difficult times, but to thrive within and beyond them.

As always, if there is ever a topic you would like me to discuss, a guest you’d like me to interview on the podcast, or feedback you wish to offer, please feel free to contact me at pr@kellytravis.net - I would love to hear from you!

The Finer Details of This Episode:

- <span style= "font-weigh
