10% Increase In Homeless Figures in Clare

149 children, many of whom will be going back to school next week, will be doing so from a Mid-West homeless facility. The latest figures from the Department of Housing show that over 67 people availed of emergency accommodation in Clare during the week of 24th-30th of July compared to 61 people the previous month. Although, the national figures have risen to a new record high of 12,847 people, Tánaiste Micheál Martin has ruled out reinstating the eviction ban for the winter months.
