Sky is the Distinguished first-place emcee of the Dub Magazine Hip Hop Competition, International main-stage performer at Festival Azure (Portugal), and formerly the emcee of LA supergroup, The West Coast Get Down. A consummate writer, Sky’s first book, <em>There's Comfort in The Darkness </em>was published with Over the Edge Books in October 2016. Having performed with such musical talents as Mickey Factz, Kamasi Washington, Ill Camille, Terrace Martin, Thundercat, and Watsky, Sky has been billed in support of Grammy winning Lupe Fiasco, and has maintained Los Angeles and international residencies. He has graced renowned stages such as The Sayers Club, The Viper Room, Grand Performances LA, and The Grammy Museum. Justin Sky is a 3rd year Journeyman IT from the inaugural class in the Society of Spoken Art, a rap guild consisting of some of rap music's greats including Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco and more.</h6> <p>With musical inspirations including Kanye West, Nas, Hans Zimmer and No I.D., Justin Sky breaks new ground on his own album, lush with rich, inventive sounds.
