For my money and for my life, Jesus is the one in the boat with us, or rather we&#39;re in the boat with him. And he might seem distant, but he is none the less present. He doesn&#39;t shy away. He is right here in the middle of the storm with us. He is the one who can take care of us even when we can not take care of ourselves.
