Marcella is a current Business Major at UMass Boston and graduates in the Spring of 2022. Although Marcella is a "self-taught" baker, she has mastered the art and skill of baking and decorating decadent desserts.</p> <p>Like many businesses, Sweets by Cella was born out of the Global Pandemic. What started as a therapeutic, fun hobby quickly became a viable business after receiving so many orders for her sweets. Her most significant order to date? Fifteen cake orders for Mother's Day.</p> <p>In this episode, Marcella shares how she started Sweets by Cella, her favorite part of baking, and why relationships are the driving force in any business, big or small.
